Now my income has doubled, my hours have been cut in half, and I FINALLY have my weekends back to spend with my family.
After shooting 20 weddings pregnant and postpartum in 2021, my husband sat me down and told me something had to give. I was gone every weekend. I was a new mom, exhausted, overwhelmed, and to be quite honest, burnt out. The whole reason I left the teaching field to become a photographer was so that I could make my own hours and spend time with my family. As a wedding photographer, I was doing the exact opposite. In 2022, I decided to pivot into Motherhood Photography and my business was forever changed. Within six months, I replaced my wedding photography income by creating a Motherhood Membership Program for my clients. It was unique. It was authentic. It was the solution.
