The Signature Process
I. The Consultation & Booking
Once I receive your inquiry, I will send over my JKP Wedding Experience Guide. After reviewing the guide, we can then set up a time for a complimentary consultation. You can choose to have your consultation at The JKP Studio or we can Facetime. I am more than willing to work around you and your schedule. A signed contract and a 25% non refundable retainer is due upon booking to secure your date. Payment plans are available upon request.
II. Engagement Session Planning
One of my FAV things about my Wedding Experience is that you receive a complimentary engagement session! Your engagement session is where I am able to get to know you and your fiancé. On the flip side, you both get to know ME! It is also great practice for your wedding day and gets your man comfortable in front of the camera. Stressed about what to wear? I have an engagement session guide telling you exactly what looks best on camera.
III. Questionnaire & Timeline
After your engagement session, you will receive a wedding day questionnaire that will help me create your customized wedding day timeline. You do not have to worry about creating a timeline yourself! I’ve got you, honey. The best part? It’s meant to be efficient and photo friendly. Plus, you can promise your man he won’t spend hours taking pictures on the best day of his life.
IV. Wedding Day
Your big day is here. You’re nervous, excited, and most likely have a bazillion people asking you questions. I am here for you no matter the need. Does your mom need help buttoning those tiny buttons on the back of your dress? I have a crochet hook for that. I’ve been given the title, “hype girl”, “extra bridesmaid”, and “incredible dancer” (not to brag, but I can dougie very well), by my brides. Most importantly, I am there to document one of the most monumental moments in your life and I do not take that job lightly.
V. Gallery Delivery
You can expect some sneak peeks within 48 hours of your big day. You can expect your ENTIRE gallery within 4 weeks. Yes ma’am, you read that right! Waiting for 2 months is not a thing here. I recommend grabbing some popcorn, your favorite drink, some tissues, and swiping through your gallery with your husband by your side to relive THE. BEST. DAY. EVER.
This stunning summer wedding took place at the beautiful Bibb Mill Venue in Columbus, Georgia. The bridesmaids wore beautiful blue dresses and the groomsmen wore tailored navy suits. The stunning blue hues and hints of white and gold throughout the ceremony and reception area made the day both classic and elegant. Cassidy and Will chose to have an intimate first look where they were able to soak in their perfect day privately. Their ceremony spot was illuminated with gorgeous natural light. After the ceremony, they headed to the stunning reception area where they threw the party of the year. The guests enjoyed a sit down dinner, cake, doughnuts, and dancing. The dance floor was never empty and there was no convincing the couple to leave it. They ended the night with a sparkler exit down the front steps of Bibb Mill with over one hundred fifty guests sending them off! The love these two have for one another, their friends, and their family is undeniable!
The Harris Wedding
This stunning December wedding took place in the heart of LaGrange at the beautiful Del’avant Event Center and the First Presbyterian Church. Not only are Kennedy and Ford a beautiful couple, they are two of the kindest people I have ever met. When I left their engagement session, I was enamored by how natural they were in front of the camera and how easy their love was to document. Their Christmas wedding was adorned with Christmas trees, fresh garland, and stunning florals. The cathedral length veil and the beautiful satin bow on the back of Kennedy’s stunning gown made her a classic and timeless bride! The first look between Kennedy and Ford was one I will never forget. Ford could not take his eyes off of his beautiful bride! Their first looks and bridal portraits took place in front of the most stunning greenery wall. Their ceremony was held in the gorgeous First Presbyterian Church. The stained glass windows and natural light made their ceremony space absolutely breath-taking. We took their bride and groom portraits in downtown LaGrange before heading back to The Del-avant to join their guests for a delicious brunch. They were sent off by their closest friends and family and had the most classic, elegant, and timeless wedding day!
The Whatley Wedding
These high school sweethearts celebrated their love at their beautiful spring wedding at The Grand in Downtown Dothan. Emily and Dylan are the definition of young and in love. Their love for one another is so very obvious and authentic. Emily’s stunning gown was so unique and beautiful and was exactly what I envisioned her wearing. Their first look was one of the most intimate and precious moments I have ever documented. Thor closest friends made up the most fun bridal party and it was so very obvious how much they truly wanted to celebrate Emily and Dylan. Their ceremony took place in the beautiful courtyard of The Grand. They said, “I Do” surrounded by their closest friends and family. Their downtown sunset portraits could not have been anymore perfect and truly encompassed the love these two have for one another. They threw one heck of a party for their guests where they danced, celebrated their marriage, and had the time of their lives!
The Gieselmann Wedding
One of my most favorite parts of being your wedding photographer is working with you both during your engagement session. I am able to get to know you both and you are able to get to know me! The JKP Wedding Experience comes with a complimentary engagement session. Your engagement session should represent who you are as a couple. Whether that be in a beautiful green field or in a down town scene, your engagement session will encapsulate the love you have for one another.

I provide all JKP couples with guides for EVERYTHING. I will recommend times to plan your ceremony based on light, create a customized, photo-friendly timeline for you, and I have guides for your engagement session, bridal session, and the day of your wedding!
