The Signature Process
I. The Booking Process
Once I receive your inquiry I will respond with my Heirloom Portrait Session Guide which will allow you to read more about the purpose, the experience, process, investment and, products. A signed contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer are due upon booking to secure your date!
II. Choosing Your Heirloom Outfit
You’ve convinced your hubby to let you invest in this one time experience. A huge selling point for the dads is that you don't have to purchase an outfit because I have an entire Heirloom Collection for you to borrow from completely free of charge! I have outfits for both boys and girls ranging from size 6 months to size 6! I will send you my Heirloom Collection Guide for you to pick out your heirloom outfit.
III. Your Session
My hope is that every session with me feels easy and STRESS FREE. My desire is to document the true personality of your little one. The true smiles and laughter. Every second of your experience should feel comfortable and easy. Have a toddler that's a little uncooperative for pictures? Phew, so do I! Wild little ones are my specialty!
IV. Sneak Peek Delivery
You can expect a sneak peek in 2 weeks. I will edit the portrait in my signature heirloom edit that I think is best. You will receive a gallery with several lifestyIe portraits for you to choose from. Don't like the one I edited? No problem! I will re-edit your favorite one at no extra charge! Once you've chosen your favorite one, it's time to decide if you want to print and/or frame the portrait through me!
V. Prints and Frames
The entire purpose behind having your child's heirloom portraits done is: TO FRAME THEM! Let me take all of the pressure off of you and walk you through my custom framing experience. Printed on fine art paper and in museum glass, this portrait is meant to last generations. You can choose to purchase loose prints OR have everything printed and framed with me.

How often do you have heirloom mini session days?
Your little one's heirloom session will take place in my studio. I am located in Dothan, Alabama. If you would like for me to travel to you, I can certainly do that for a small travel fee!
Where will this session take place?
The sitting fee is $275 for the first child and $125 for each additional child. The overall investment varies from family to family. Some choose to only purchase the digital image and then print and frame it themselves. Some choose to purchase loose prints and frame it themselves. Most choose to allow me to take care of ALL of it for them and let me print and frame it for them. My hope is that this format allows everyone of all budgets to invest in this experience! what's the average heirloom investment?
I realize that a big thing with an heirloom portrait session is putting your little one in a family heirloom outfit! They can wear whatever you'd like for them to. The heirloom collection was created to take the stress of finding an outfit off of you!
does my little one have to wear one of your heirlooms?
Not at all! Heirloom mini session days are the best way to snag a spot on a weekend. You can set up your own private session on any week day morning or afternoon! Just let me know that when you inquire! This is at no additional cost to you!
can i only book a session on a mini session day?
There is NO such thing! You get to decide when you want to do them for your little one. The only qualification is that your little one can sit up unassisted!
