Our Booking Process

I. Use the Booking Link to Book!

You'll find the booking link in multiple places on my website and social media formats. Choose the date, amount of time you need for your session, and then pay! It's that simple! Once I receive your booking confirmation, I will send you your custom contract.

II. Sign the Contract

Once I receive your booking confirmation, I'll send over the contract! This lays out the terms of renting the space and ensures we are both protected. Once the contract is signed, I will request proof of your business liability insurance!

III. A Copy of  Your Business Insurance

You might be wondering why the heck I need a copy of your liability insurance. Since I am leasing this space, my landlord requires that any subleasers must show that they too are insured (as he should)! This ensures that we are all protected in the event something happens.

Just a tip, if you don't have biz insurance, YOU NEED IT! No matter where you do your sessions or what niche you specialize in.

IV. Day of Your Rental

24 hours before your rental, I will email you a code to the key box. The code changes after every rental! Please remember that your time begins when you enter the studio, not when you begin your session. Please account for clean up time as well!

V. Clean Up

Whenever you have finished your session, please return any props or swaddles to where they belong. If you moved any furniture, please put it back where it was. Please make sure all lights are turned off and that you lock the door back and return the key!

You MUST have business liability insurance to rent. You can scan or email me a copy of it. Once I have it on file, you're good to go! You must also pay the full nonrefundable retainer up front, as well as, sign a contract!

What is required for me to rent the studio?

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are available for week day rentals. Saturdays and Sundays are also available! Hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please remember I do use this space for my own clients, so some times may be blocked out for my own sessions. Again, don't wait to rent!

What days are available to rent the studio?

You can book the studio space months in advance. You can also book it 24 hours in advance. For holidays, I recommend booking it as soon as you can since these dates fill up quickly!

How far in advance can i book the studio?

YES. Renting the studio does NOT include a session with me. If you are not a photographer and accidentally stumbled on this page, head to the top of this page and choose the experience you are interested in!

Do I have to be a photographer to rent the studio?

My intentions are to offer a space for local photographers to create! There are multiple hourly options to choose from. The hourly rate is $60 on week days! The more hours you book, the cheaper the hourly rate is.

What is the hourly rate?

The JKP Studio is located on the West Side of Dothan, Alabama off of Highway 84.

Where is the studio located?
